Join me for a relaxed morning photowalk through the gardens of The Botanic Retirement Village.
Starting from the Clubhouse Café, we’ll wander through the village gardens and explore the spring colours, flowers, plants, textures and greenery around us.
This photowalk is designed to introduce some of the basics of nature photography in an easy and practical way. We’ll look at how to find an interesting subject, make the most of the available light, choose a good angle and create simple, pleasing compositions.
There’s no need for any advanced photography knowledge or experience. The idea is simply to enjoy taking photographs, try a few different techniques and see familiar surroundings in a new way.
A selection of Sony cameras and lenses will also be available to try during the walk.
